September 1983, Willem-Jan van Antwerpen introduced VANTAS CIGARS in the Dutch market. Meanwhile, VANTAS has become one of the well-established cigar brands in the Netherlands, available exclusively at leading cigar shops.
VANTAS has as a device "No Quantity, but Quality". Both the cigar (exclusively 100% tobacco) as the packing should meet the highest standards.
Vantas cigars are respected because of the unique Deli wrapping, Java binder and the filling comprising, amongst others, Vorstenlanden, Besuki and Havanna tobacco. Also with respect to the packing, VANTAS should be considered as a distinguishable brand. A certain number of cigar boxes have been awarded a legally protected industrial design, this being extraordinary for cigar boxes. See for example the cigar boxes having two- and three covers. Also the after-dinner Corona Estate, a cigar carefully wrapped in a wooden tube, is an extraordinary piece of VANTAS craftsmanship.
